September Guest Designer Post #1

I am SOOOOO excited to share with you our guest designer for September. She is a super talented and very sweet lady. I am not sure if you remember, but she won our challenge with this card and not long after that day did  I invited her to be our guest designer for September. Yes, I have had to wait that long to announce her :D and patience is not one of my best qualities :) lol!!!

and here is a little bit about her:

 

I am now a SAHM, after spending nearly 15 years in print media, who lives in Oklahoma and is happily married to the love of my life! We have an awesome 15 year old son (who's going on 30...lol!) and a 6 year old fur baby, a Boxer we rescued from a local shelter. I started scrapping about 5 years ago when my mother-in-law bought me a kit for Christmas. Two years later she also got me a Cricut for Christmas and that was it for me, I was totally hooked! Less than a year later I was on my first design team and had a blog. I've not slowed down since and absolutely love the creative outlet it offers me, plus it allows me to preserve so many memories to hand down to our son or look back on when my husband and I are old and gray! When I'm not crafting or spending time with my family, I'm usually reading, cooking or playing taxi driver to our son & his friends. I also have a huge love of music, as does our entire family, and our son is a multi-instrumentalist playing primarily drums in his band. He also recently tried out for the church's youth band and made it too!! Thanks for letting me brag a little...us moms can get pretty crazy as you know...lol!

I asked Candy a few 'getting to know you' questions and here are the answers she gave for this week.... 

1.How did you find out about Fresh Brewed Designs?   

 

  I was browsing challenge blogs & looking for something new, as well as fun, when I stumbled upon FBD. Since then, I've been hooked to all the fun challenges, great inspiration & sweet atmosphere!

2. Do you like coffee? (had to ask;) lol!!!)

 

  I do love coffee! I love it extra sweet with lots of creamer, especially flavored creamers like hazelnut! Mmmmm!

3. What is your favorite flavor - style of coffee beverage (if you do;) lol!) 

  Hands down, iced coffees! Just adore them...so yummy! But, I also really love me a good cappuccino - especially in the winter months!
