Flowers for my Valentine

YIKES, it's the last day of January!!! How did that happen?! When you come back tomorrow, our new monthly challenge will be announced, and I think you're gonna LOVE it!! I've been lovin' these new digis that were recently released...you can find them all HERE. For my card today I used Flowers for my Valentine. Is he not the sweetest?! And how fun it was to make a non-traditional Valentine's Day card too! For more details on my card, please check it out on my blog, The Stamper's Touch.

With a new month comes a new Special Brew at Fresh Brewed Designs. On Monday, February 6th, our darling little Cutie Pie in Clouds rubber stamp will be on sale for $3.95. Oh My Cutie Pie!!!

Hello, my lovely and crafty friends!

I made a really cute little box

that I want to share with all of you!

Or if you like, it can be a purse!

It's really roomy inside!

It measures 4 1/2" x 4" and it's 3/4" wide

Here is a picture showing it holding 

six lip balms!

To make the box I started with a piece of 

pink cardstock  that measures

6" x 10 3/4"

I scored it at 

1 1/4" - 2" - 6" - 6 3/4"

from the top to the bottom

Then I turned it 

and scored it at

3/4" - 5 1/4" 

from the top to the bottom

Then I cut out the first two squares

on both the left and the right side.

I cut slits up the sides of both middle squares

as you can see in the picture above.

Fold on all of the creases and use sticky tape to 

make your box.

Then the fun part is decorating it!

Getting Knitty With It!

 It is getting cooler outside (some days, lol! it is actually rainy and in the 60s here today).  We are all getting out our scarves and hats and warm  gloves to wear with our stylish winter ensembles. I am lucky because my mom crochets and my sister knits so I always have a fun variety of cool things to wear :D

On Cloud 9

I think I am higher than cloud 9 as a matter of fact :D!

Speaking of cloud 9, why did we start saying that?

I created this card using the Twinery colors Cantaloupe and Orchid. The rubber stamp is Fresh Brewed Designs Cutie Pie in Clouds . She will be part of a SPECIAL ONE DAY DEAL FBD is having on February 6th. She will be on sale for $3.95 .. one day only or until sold out. If she is sold out, I will add a new stamp to replace her for that price until the end of the day!

more materials: The blue dot paper is my My Minds Eye bright dot stack, the pink is making memories small pink dots, the yellow is PTI 2008 bitty dot basics. I colored little cutie pie with prismacolor markers and decorated her with glossy accents and diamond stickles. The epoxy hearts are by little yellow bicycle.

Bee Mine Valentine

I am back today with a tutorial
on how to make the flower you saw on

As you can see above, I stayed with the whole Paris / Eiffel Tower theme with this card. I had the card and image ready and thought the flower would be pretty with her too :D I almost took some watered down food coloring and made it pink... but ran out of time.. so here ya go! Coffee Stained and shabby chic.

I created this card using the Eat Sleep Stamp Sketch >> HERE << where my card was featured last week. Tracy suggested I make a tutorial and I did not want to let her down, so you get a video tutorial (THAT IS TERRIBLE! just sayin' HA!) and a picture tutorial because the vid is terrible (just sayin') :D

The image is one of the FBD New released digis called Gianna Dreams of  Paris (yes, in the vid I forgot the name of the image ... der! and I made terrible faces ... lol) ANYWAY - I had a lot of fun making this card and hope that you will try to make one of these flowers as well. If you do, please come back and share it with me! I would love to see it!!! (PROOF MY TUT WORKED YOU SEE ;)! HA!)

Cowboy Joe goes home.......

Wasn't that Valentine Blog Hop wonderful.  Heather has some spectacular images out there and the other DTs and I had a great time getting to play with them.

As I said on my blog, my project today is all about where cowboy Joe went after lasso-ing some love!  LOL

I used the door with decorations and covered the Christmas wreath with a bunch of punched out hearts and made my own Valentine's wreath!  Easy to do! 

Add some 'Love" embossing, some border punching, pearls and some ribbon and you have a perfect home for cowboy Joe to come home to.

Inside the card, Joe's left over tickets to ride from the Love Train on the blog  hop!

Did you notice those heart shaped suckers?  Another one of Heathers great designs!

This girl has got Valentine's  COMPLETELY covered!  LOL

Don't forget about the challenges that are going on here on FBD.

I Heart You

Hello and Happy Tuesday. Linda here writing to you from snowy Pittsburgh, PA. Funny how as soon as Christmas is over, we go right into Valentine's Day and Easter! Red, white and black, is there any better color combo out there then that? Well, maybe, our kraft, pink and white challenge...but you better hurry, you don't have much time to get your project submitted. Tomorrow a new weekly challenge will be posted.
