Happy Tuesday too! Mr. Weatherman predicts near 80 degrees today...the 20th of March!!!!!! Absolutely crazy, but I'm definitely not complaining.
I have a question for you, what do you do with your cards after you make them? Do you sell them at craft shows, organize them in your arsenal of cards for whatever the occasion, or do you mail them off right away? I actually hold on to most of my cards so I can put them on display in my room for awhile for inspiration. So not only am I a paper hoarder (oops, I mean collector), but now I collect my cards!!! After awhile, I will mail some of them off to Operation Write Home who send boxes to our troops so they can mail cards home to family and friends. Well I've decided to try and organize myself a bit by making a stack of mailable birthday cards, so here's my first!!! Hey, ya gotta start somewhere, right! And what better way than to use a fabulous image from Fresh Brewed Designs. This digital image is called Latte Party and can be found HERE. It was a quick and easy one to color and add some sparkle. I used liquid pearls around the scallop circle for a great girlie touch. For more details on my card, please visit my blog, The Stamper's Touch.
Hope to see you back here tomorrow for our new fun weekly challenge.
This card is BEAUTIFUL Linda!!! Oh I love the touch of sparkle on the cupcake, the fun papers, your SUPER GORGEOUS STITCHING and the sweet sugary pearls.
ReplyDeleteI also collect my own cards, HAHAHAHA!!! I have a few big boxes of them in my craft where they are safe and sound. I was searching for a specific card one day and my husband saw all the boxes full of cards and was in shock. He said I could stock Hallmark :D AHAHAHAHA!!!
I will send some off and hopefully get the nerve up to try to sell in a craft show soon.
Many hugs!!!
Heather
