Life's Simple Pleasures

Ahhh yes, it's been one of those days. I had this newly released digi, Sally, colored last night with a plan on the card's simple layout. Well today has been one interruption after another! I haven't even been able to drink my coffee without two reheats!! Yeah, it's that bad! So anyway, here it is, finally done and ready for posting.

Can you believe tomorrow is May 1st?!! That means it will be time for a new month long challenge. Sure hope you'll be able to join us.

I had to share with you a picture from my son's track meet yesterday (he's the second one from the left). At the last meet of the year, they hold a traditional relay made up of field event athletes (Phillip does long, triple and high jump) and coaches. It's so much fun watching these guys and gals run around the track. I'm proudly displaying the team that ended up winning the race!! Yes, that's right, these four guys are all jumpers and they won the race! It was a blast watching.

You are the Best Part of my Day

Hehe! Yes, here at Fresh Brewed Designs, coffee is the best part of our day!!! As a matter of fact, I am meeting a friend at Starbucks in a little bit...then it's off to run some errands, one of which is the dreaded grocery store. I found this cute Flower Mug in my stash of digital images I already had printed off. Looks like I need to work on using up that stack too (along with my scraps of designer papers!). I used a new die to cut out the three squares (lucky me, I had three mugs!) as well as the cursive "you." The rest of the sentiment is a new stamp set I just bought and simply had to use!
