*excerpt from the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation*
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
which is an
annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
While most people
are aware of breast cancer,
many forget to take the steps to have a plan
to
detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do
the same.

Support , Encourage, and spread Awareness to others by making cards,
joining challenges such as Link Up For Pink
And please consider creating cards and finding somewhere to donate them.
I read this post and was really touched by it.
I think we should support all types of cancer, so this post is a really
great for all of us card makers. Such an easy way to make a big difference in someones life.
And, as always, more importantly than anything else, pray.
Pray for those you know, the ones you hear mentioned of, the ones in hospitals now.
Pray for mothers and fathers sitting with their children as they are figthing.
Pray for daughters, mothers, grandmothers fighting the battle of breast cancer.
Never underestimate the power of prayer.
Never underestimate the power of prayer.
When you are praying according to God's will, your prayer is unstoppable
Here are a few gorgeous cards Edwina created for BCA Month
This card is so soft and lovely.
The rickrack, sweet paper lace doily, beautiful folded ruffle,
and the intricately cut out digital stamp will surely brighten someones day
and make them feel special at the same time.
I love that pop of blue in the vase, don't you?
This next card is equally as beautiful.
What a nice little card to send to someone who needs encouagement and
an invite to have a cup of coffee with you. Whether that be a set time to sit
and drink across the miles over the phone, meet out, or send them a gift card
to encouage and bless them. No matter what you do, this card will
make them feel loved and will make them smile.
If you like the sentiments, they are free on the fresh brewed website.
Go HERE to see them and the other cancer awareness items in the shop.
