Buzz By and Make Sure You've Seen All the Latest Releases

What's the BUZZ peeps? I hope that you all have BEEn well since we last met up. If you happened to miss it on Monday, Feb. 10, there was a blog hop over here to release all the new images out for February. However, don't get your bee in a bonnet if you didn't have a chance to participate in the hop, BEEcause in case you missed them, I wanted to make sure that you got the opportunity to check out all the great new images for sale.

Cow-a-BUG-a Dude! That is quite a bit of cake for a little guy to eat! However, he seems to be doing rather a good job at it, doesn't he?

This image is cute as a bug's ear. Chef Cutie Bug has whipped up a very special treat for you all to share in. I have it on good authority that Chef's confectionery goodies are rather delicious so you'll definitely want a sample of your own.

Isn't this image simply the bees' knees? This Cutie is apparently rather tired. Look--his little antennae are completely drooped. Maybe a little caffeine will help do the trick and he'll be back to buzzing around in no time at all.

This image is just as sweet as can BEE. I wonder if this particular Cutie is willing to share because that lollipop looks awfully tasty!

FBD Saturday DT Feature Post: Patti

Good Saturday Morning. 

I am so excited to be able to sit and relax with my family today. 

My hunny is home, the kids are both healthy and happy, and the weather is lovely.

All of those things added together equal a perfect kind of day. 

Another special thing about today is that I get to share one of our

DT members gorgeous creations.

Patti is continuing on with the love theme.

DT Feature Post: Linda: The Stampers Touch

I decided to make a card to show off one of the MANY wonderful digital images you can find at Fresh Brewed Designs. This one is called April Swings. With winter here in the northeast showing no signs of going away, I had to make a fun, bright, summery card. It's fun because of her bright pink hair and yellow dress. "Keep Smiling," I guess that's all we can do cause complaining sure doesn't help!! It's just getting harder shoveling the snow, there's nowhere to put it! The piles along the sidewalk and driveway are so high I can't throw the shovel full of snow up and over it anymore!! Now that's bad!

I am here with a really fun post.

Monica at TaylorMade4U Cards is our first guest designer for 2014!

She was chosen from our January winner of the Choose Your Challenge 

and we are so excited to share her lovely creations with you.

Get to know more about Monica and

her crafting style by reading the questionnaire below. 

1) How and where did you hear about Fresh Brewed Designs?

I heard about FBD from one of your DT blog. She coordinates for another digi designer and I started following her.

2) How long have you been paper crafting? 

I have been paper crafting for about 17 years. I started scrapbooking when my son was born. My Mother in Law was into card making so I thought I would give it a try and got hooked. That was about 3 1/2 years ago.

3) Are there any tips you have leaned along the way that you would like to share with our readers? 

Maybe not so much a tip as advice. Don’t be afraid to try new techniques or tools. I have found with practice, we eventually master these new sometimes intimidating techniques. And we usually have a lot of fun along the way. I was not into digital images until about 6 months ago and felt that I would never be able to color images well enough. But with practice, I think I have really come a long way from my very first attempt.

4) What are your  GO TO colors when creating your projects?

My favorite style is the vintage/grunge, so I tend to lean towards the browns and earth tones.

5) What is your favorite card making technique?

Distressing by far is my favorite. I like to grunge up my designs. You will see this a lot in my cards.

6) Tell us a little about yourself and what gets your creative mojo brewing.

Hmm, that is a tough one. I usually have an idea where I am going with a project when I sit down to design, but many times go down a completely different path. I have compared my card making to a puzzle, You just keep trying different pieces until you get the finished picture. Not knowing exactly how the finished project is going to look inspires me to create. Of course if I truly am at a stand still , other designers finished projects often get me moving in the right direction.
