The Lord is my Shepherd

PSALM 23

 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

² He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Isn't it amazing how much God loves us. 

The Lord is MY shepherd....

What is a shepherd?

1. One who herds, guards, and tends sheep.

2. One who cares for and guides a group of people, as a minister or teacher.

Herds... Guards ... Tends. 

Our Lord loves us so much he watches over us.

He will not let us go hungry. 

He will not let us go thirsty. 

He will keep us in GREEN PASTURES and will lead us beside the 

STILL WATERS.  

A shepherd will make sure his sheep are being fed well.

He makes sure that the sheep are drinking clean, uncontaminated water.

He protects them. Keeps a close eye on them.

If a shepherd of a flock of animals is so careful and watchful and protective

of these animals, how much more so is our Heavenly Father over us.

This is a new digital stamp simply called 

SHEPHERD 

Rhonda at Bumblebee Creations created this card for Pastor Appreciation Day.

In the Bible, Jesus also speaks to others about being shepherds. 

Our pastors are here to lead us and guide us in the way the Lord would have us to go.

Please pray for your Pastor. Please pray that he is lead by God and that

the words he speaks and preaches are true. Pray and seek God's face in all things. 

Let Him be the ultimate Shepherd in your life, but know that he did send and call

pastors / teachers / missionaries/ ministers here on earth to do the job of a shepherd. 

Show them love, encouragement, support, and pray for them. 

John 21:15-17

....Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Sunday Inspiration

When An'Jenic came to me with this project, I fell in love. 

What a touching, heartfelt work of art she created. 

This prayer journal is something that I felt should be featured all alone

rather than on a Saturday post because she went into so much detail, sharing

one small photo of this set would not be enough!

My mistake was that I was supposed to share it with you last Sunday, 

and my brain just wasn't working with my body.

Forgive me for that!

Prayer is so important. It is powerful, it is calming, it is what keeps us connected to God

and keeps us walking closer to Him. We can't have a relationship with Him without praying

and seeking his will in our lives.

I do hope you are all having a day full of sunshine and smiles. If not, I am sending you some from where I am. I hope you feel them :) I am not here with the regular REMINDER post for the week. I have something else to share with you :)

Today I have some new images to share with you. Today I have added several new digital stamps to the shop. These images were inspired and created after prayer and asking God to guide me to create something to reflect how much he loves us all. I was looking outside and thinking of how much I love him and how in the world I would be able to capture even a piece of that on paper. Days later he gave me these images. I cried while drawing most of them.

Today I am sharing a very personal image with you. This one came when the internet, cable, telephones and all were not working. While the kids and my husband was asleep and I was up sitting and thinking and listening to a few CDs. This image came to me while listening to the songs One Touch by Nicole C Mullen and Beautiful by Kari Jobe. I do hope you will take time sometime to listen to these songs. It is about how when we seek his face, pray, and show him how much we love him ~ He will wrap his loving arms around us, surround us with his love and peace and will guide us and direct us in the way he wants us to go.
