For my hop day 2 card I used the sweetie:

Decorate it Girl

Her PJs were paper pieced and the image was stamped OVER the tree. 

It appears to be masked off but since the tree is a digi, we all know that will not work. 

 I stamped the little box twice, cut it out and pieced it over the first.

 A little paper piecing and distressing and stickles and Voila - 

my fun and bright little Christmas creation :)

GOOD MORNING!

I created a fun little card with one of my FIRST ever digital stamps.

It Looks A Lot Like Monday!

Good Morning everyone!

My kids are slow moving this morning .. and I guess I am too.

I have had this card ready for over a week, but have been out of tape ... so it sat in puzzle pieces on

my table until this morning when I was able to break open the tape I got to purchase Saturday. 

I was so happy to see it come togehter.

We're Havin' a Party!!!

Today is my sweet little girls birthday. 

She has hit the double digits.... and I am wondering how it got here so fast. 

I am actually writing this post late this night and having it ready for tomorrows posting...

and as I sit here I think of my sweet baby girl. The one I prayed so long for. The one I would cherish every moment I felt her kick, her painful but wonderful stretch inside me, how terrified but excited I was to get to go to the hospital to welcome her to the world. The moment I found out I had to have a C-section (UGH!) and the first time I heard her sweet cry. The first time I got to look into her precious little eyes... yes, you know it, I am bawling now. She is halfway to adult hood. She is half the age I was when I got married. Sigh. BUT this is not a sad time, this is a super happy time. It is her 10th birthday and while I will reminisce, I will also celebrate what a wonderful, beautiful, silly, happy, talented little lady she is.

I created this image for my princess. This is simply called Birthday Girl. I kept the colors fun and funky because she is 10 after all and 10 year olds are not really about the sweet pastels and soft colors ... lol.  I am liking these colors better together than when I was making it. I Was thinking... this is going to be one bright and gaudy card!!! hehehehe!! but I do love it all together. They are just happy and bright and do not clash as much as I thought they would. I went all out with tons of pop dots, big bold trim and fun epoxy stickers I have been saving for a few years. She got it all!!!

 This digi is NOT available in the shop today.

Cotton Candy Anyone?

Hi FBD Peeps!

Today I have something fun to share with you.

Remember my fuzzy green candy corn monster card? I had also released 2 more monster digis and had started on THIS card as well, but never got around to finishing it until this morning :D. 

Meet Cotton Candy Monster

To create this card I simply was inspired by the sketch at Eat Sleep Stamp. Everything just fell together after that :). I used MME bright Dots paper, papertrey inc white and black cardstock, leftover ribbon from stash, prismacolor markers, orange fun flock, pink and orange cardstock from stash, little white puff balls :D, pink prima flowers, martha stewart border punch and of course, the Fresh Brewed Designs digital stamp: Cotton Candy Monster.
