School starts here today and many moms I know are sending their little ones off for the first time.
There have been lots of cute little pictures posted as well as sad mommies writing about their little ones growing up.  I Also know some who are preparing to send their little ones off to college. It is crazy how time flies and our babies grow up. The card I am sharing with you really has nothing to do with any of this, but it is what I thought of when I read the sentiment. Miss You! I know there are lots of words and thoughts of 'Mommy's going to miss you!' when their big and little babies are dropped off. Consider this sortof a HUG to you moms out there .. you know who you are :)

Our August Guest Designer, Vanessa at My Paper Creations, has created this BEAUTIFUL card using the FBD rubber stamp Love Mug. This was one of the first ever released FBD stamps. I LOVE the bingo paper and the soft ribbon and paper layers. The REAL napkin adds such a fun touch of texture~

Just Relax!!!

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all having a relaxing Saturday! I am busy today with my sons little birthday party. I still can not believe he is 7 years old!!! I will  also be spending time getting ready for our first week of school, dance, and the start of flag football. It all starts Monday!!! *sigh* ... all of this leads up to the card I am sharing with you today. Our Guest Designer for August really hit the nail on the head with this card!!! Vanessa knew somewhere that today this is what I would be needing. A nice quiet relaxing hot bath... with coffee!! :)

Isn't this card BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the green wall and the fun flooring. It looks like a very happy and pretty place to sneak away for some peace and quiet relaxation time.

Too Cute Tuesday

Good morning everyone! 

I am back today to share with you a cute little card I made using the

Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp: Cutie Pie Swinging. 

Doesn't she look like she is having a fun time swinging from the little clouds over a bed of lollipop shaped flowers?!?  Her wings and shoes and little lips were painted with Inspirations Paint: fairy dust. I LOVE this paint! It is so shimmery and dries SO quickly. I can paint my project, come back within just minutes and it is dry and ready to go! Just don't forget to rinse your paintbrush as soon as you are done :D.

Now for the UPDATES:

It is August, and that means it is a BIG week for us at FBD. The first week of the month is always that way :D and we love it!!! We started off with some really fun things... Things you may have missed:

Hot And Stylin'

 Happy Saturday!!! 

I don't know about you, but Saturday is the one day I usually get out of my pjs (or yoga pants) and hit the town (aka grocery store!) hahah!!! In honor of  this we are making today all about FASHION!!! Sassy sweet and HOT!

This next project has the perfect mix of sweet and sexy. Our guest designer, Sheryl, created this AWESOME purse featuring Caution: Contents are Hot! rubber stamp and painted with Fairy Dust Inspirations Paint as a reminder of this weeks Shaped Cards challenge.

I LOVE the white dress with the bling buttons. I am telling you, if possible, I would TOTALLY LOVE TO HAVE A REAL PURSE LIKE THIS!!! I love it that much!!!

Isn't this just SOOO SWEET!!! It makes my heart melt and break because sweet little Susie Q reminds me of my little Daisy who passed away a few years ago. But anyway.... on to something happier. Do you like the title of this post? Don't get it? Let me fill you in :)

Remember back in the day when those singing fish wall hangings were popular with us people in the south? My Granny gave one to my son not so long ago. I hid it in his closet, and yes, he found it yesterday. That song will be stuck in my head for a very long time :D hahahahaha!!!

I have something fun and new to share with you today. 

This card is featuring one of Fresh Brewed Designs newest digital stamps.

Huckleberry Pie goes Fishing. Huck is one of Angel Cakes newest and best friends. Notice he took his halo off and has it on the back of the boat for safe keeping. 

Funny how coincidental that is right now. I was searching fishing quotes to leave you something cute and sweet to think about. All I found was goofy quotes about men and fishing and being liars and so on. 

this was actually the best one I found .. and even it is terrible...

Summer Days drifting away...

..to, oh, those summer nights

The days of summer... hot and humid. About the only thing you can do is find somewhere to cool off whether it be a store, the mall, a pool, or the beach... but at night the sun goes down, the summer breeze comes out to play, the moon is bright and the waves dance across the sand. There is nothing more magical than a summer night, wouldn't you agree?

The Fresh Brewed Designs rubber stamp, Beach Bums (I do call her so lovingly) is having her lemonade watching the sun as it goes down. She has more than likely had a fun day at the beach and is now preparing to have a leasurly stroll down the boardwalk, perhaps meet her sweetheart for a romantic dinner. Whatever it may be, she will enjoy herself and make wonderful summer memories to last until NEXT summer :)

I was so very excited and happy when Heather got in touch with me about being her guest designer for the month of July! I love participating in the Freshly Brewed Challenges and using the Fresh Brewed Shop Designs!

I am a Christian who has been happily married for 30 years to my wonderful husband who is very supportive of my card making. We have two happily married, beautiful daughters and one handsome son, who just finished serving in the Navy. We have been blessed with one precious 15 month old grandson named Jacob, who I am lucky enough to care for during the week here in my home, family daycare/preschool. We also have a very energetic 11 month old Beagle named Suzie Q!

I'm very busy running my daycare/preschool during the day. Then in the evenings and on the weekends I love creating in my craft room! I have been having so much fun making cards for just over a year now and I have been blessed with meeting so many, very talented, caring and thoughtful, new friends.

Here is the ADORABLE card that Sheryl created using Cowgirl Birthday and Cowboy boots. I LOVE the sentiment and the paper pieced outfit.

Some New Stuffs and a THANK YOU!!!

Good Morning! 

This is a somewhat LONG post, so please be patient.

I promise you will be glad you stayed :)

I want to start off by thanking our Guest Designer for June. Sharon from Diary of a Craft Room Transformation. went above and beyond with her super cute cards, but behind the scenes she shared many touching emails that made me smile, laugh, and touched my heart. She has created this birthday card as her last Guest Designer post. It was inspired by our current Party Themed challenge in which you can find HERE. 

She colored the little Ewe for a friend of hers who loves sheep and actually created these flowers herself! Aren't they GORGEOUS!!! She used the Alleen's bread dough recipe in which my mom and I played with when I was a teenager. It really brought back wonderful memories when she shared that about her card. Thank you so much Sharon for being such a wonderful lady. You have a great talent and I hope you will continue to share it with us at Fresh Brewed Designs. 

 OK, So, LET's TALK!!! 

We have a new digi just released to Fresh Brewed Designs. It is called Hello! :)

Funny ~ after I named it I made my cards ... then remembered when my daughter was a baby she called the phone a hello :D That made my heart smile... and a little sad... but back to the card!!! You can read more about this card at my blog HERE


Next up is another fun card using Hello, but first  the deets. Every First Friday at The Latte Lounge we start a NEW month long challenge. Since Simply Scrapping Crafts is closing, I am taking the idea for there and using it at TLL. We are creating every month with a sketch and an extra. This months (July) sketch is as follows:

 and the extra: add 2 embellies of choice.

Hi everyone. This is sortof a 'test' post. I do have a card to share with you though, so this visit will not be pointless for you :D (I hope;) )


This card is featuring the rubber stamp: E(spresso) Mail (which is on sale for just two more days!!!). I think I spend half of my life on the computer checking on my friends and doing things like this :D and I love it. Maybe that is why E(spresso) Mail makes me happy.

I know my son would love this one. He loves to play and dress up like a pirate. In fact, he was one yesterday walking around with his treasure map :).

Good Morning!
I am stopping by today to share a card I created using
Fresh Brewed Designs Rubber Stamp: Cordelia in Sand

There is a lot of dimension on this card. The blue card stock is attached to the base with a thin layer of foam mount. The die cut that Cordelia is sitting on is mounted with a thicker foam mount square. I layered the pink waves and ribbon over the die cut rather than under as I had originally planned.

Many of my friends emails have been hacked into and I have let them know through alternate emails or in a group setting. They changed their password and all was fine. Now, My freshbreweddesigns yahoo account has been compromised. I can no longer access this account. Someone has broken into it and has changed my password among other things making it appear impossible for me to get into it. I have contacted yahoo several times, with no luck. PLEASE do not email me at the freshbreweddesigns@yahoo.com until I say otherwise. In turn, please do not open any emails sent to you through that account. It is not from me and I would not want you to receive spam on my account. Forgive me if I have caused you any problems.
