This little card was so much fun to make!

I used the SCS tutorial *Stamped Acrylic Block Background*

I have never tried this before, and one of my acrylic blocks is wavy! FUN! 

and perfect for this challenge. 

I colored up the

Fresh Brewed Digi: HAZEL BLOWS BUBBLES

and stamped the background with tim holtz distress ink in lipstick

the SU sentiment was stamped using momento tuxedo black ink. 

I added lots of sparkle by placing glue dots and sprinkling 

American Craft Loose Glitter in  WOW! Carrot 

around the stamped background. 

Here is another view of the card showing off more of the pretty sparkle!

Happy Tuesday!

Yes, we all made it past the, sometimes dreaded, Monday {Monster}.

HEHEHE

We survived and will make it through another work / school week. 

I, for one, am so excited that it is almost summer break. 

The kids (and I) really need a break. 

Another thing I am looking forward to is my little girl's move to a new dance studio.

She has been taking a few private classes there and they decided to allow her 

to do a solo in their spring recital. I am overjoyed that this move is going so positively and so smoothly. 

Thanking God all of  the way!

April Guest Designer: Jeannie: Day 5

Psalm 23

5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: 

thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Even on our worst days, the Lord is there for us, 

watching over us, loving us, wanting nothing but the BEST for us.

Every day my cup runneth over and I am so thankful for His love for me.

Praise Him when you are on a mountaintop and praise Him in the valleys. 

He is always there, working in your life, working things out for the better, 

just call upon His wonderful name and trust in him.

Our amazing guest designer, Jeannie: Dragonfly Journeys,  

has created another gorgeous project for us today.

This one, obviously, touched something more in me than just being

captivated by it's loveliness. Check it out:

for my traveling needs I made a passport and two travel bags... 

 closer view of the passport using Fresh Brewed Designs "Travel Girl"...

the passport is fashioned after our Canadian passports...

I hand wrote the words and embossed with gold embossing powder...

I added three travel related charms...

 inside is lined with paper from 7 Gypsies "Travel" line...

travel stamps are by Mrs.  Grossman...

 closer look at "Travel Girl"...

 the larger piece of luggage...

I used Graphic 45 design paper to make the bag...

the luggage tag is the "Suitcase" digi from Fresh Brewed Designs...

I added three more charms...
