 Chloe's Cupcake

{{ The sentiment stamp is from Stampendous, the Cotton Candy and Buttercup card stock, patterned paper, zipper lace, and pink glitter gems are from Close To My Heart.  I had the little yellow button on hand, and used a little Stickles on the icing of cupcake.  I used the Close To My Heart blending markers to color the image.}}

 I crimped the brown image around the cup.  Ruby red and kraft cardstock were used,

 brown itty bitty brads, some brown ribbon and copper itty bitty pearls.}}

Thought of you today

Meet April!  She has the cutest smile.  I sized her to fit into the Polaroid frame, she looks so cute! :)   The paper is Dear Lizzy, 5th & Frolic.  I created my faux flair by punching a 1" circle and adhering it to a 1" epoxy sticker.  I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but so far I've put two together and I love it!  I purchased the epoxy stickers at Michael's jewelry section, but I found a vendor on Etsy that sells them in bulk.  Yay!

April FBD DT Feature Post

Good Morning! 

I hope you have all had a wonderful week. 

We have had beautiful weather here in South Carolina the past few days. 

We had a family members 40th birthday party at their home Monday evening
and enjoyed a cookout with them.
Yesterday, the kids, my husband and I took a 2 mile walk then decided it was
 so nice, (OVER 80 DEGREES) we went back to the beach for 2 hours and just hung out.

 We all found a shark tooth or two, played frisbee, stuck our toes in the ICE cold water 

and just relaxed a bit. It was a PERFECT day!

It is supposed to chill back off by the weekend, so I am happy that we got to go.

Enough of my blabbing... you are here to see some FANTASTIC dt projects.

The ladies really went all out with these beauties!

Happy Thoughts

Keeping this post quick and easy just like this card. I'm learning to embrace my clean and simple side, using my sewing machine as an embellishment maker! I couldn't stand it though how empty it had looked along the right hand upper corner, so I added the strip of rhinestones in a rather crooked line!!! After ten minutes of trying to fix 'em, I said just go with it. After all it's getting late and you need to get to bed!!!! And yes, before you ask, those papers are from my scrap bin!
