Have a Bubbly Birthday!

This little card was so much fun to make!

I used the SCS tutorial *Stamped Acrylic Block Background*

I have never tried this before, and one of my acrylic blocks is wavy! FUN! 

and perfect for this challenge. 

I colored up the

Fresh Brewed Digi: HAZEL BLOWS BUBBLES

and stamped the background with tim holtz distress ink in lipstick

the SU sentiment was stamped using momento tuxedo black ink. 

I added lots of sparkle by placing glue dots and sprinkling 

American Craft Loose Glitter in  WOW! Carrot 

around the stamped background.

I am here to share a FUN card with you. 

I am not ready for summer heat, but am ready for some NICE

sunny warm weather. I prefer it to stay in the high 70's low 80's. 

I think that kind of weather is PERFECT!!!!!

We only get a week or so of it... then the SUMMER HEAT blasts through. Sigh.

But I enjoy that week.

Lets beat the cold with some SUMMER FUN!

I also added loose glitter to the waves and some glossy accent bubbles around

the little sea creatures.

What is with my photo editing lately?!? 

I don't like it :( :( :( 

I guess I can also blame the dark dreary outside as well. 

Not great lighting for taking pics and have to really exaggerate the highlighting and shadow effects

in editing. Sigh. Oh well....

A Little Hello

I'm thinking I should just go back to bed and start this day over again!!! Yes, it's been "one of those days" and it's only after noon! But I will survive!! I'm here to share with you my card for this week's challenge - 1 image (hand colored) and 1 sentiment (on the front of the card). And in my case, a whole lot of pattern papers!!!! It's easy when they come from the same paper pack. I used Cute Owl, an image I found in my "already printed out" images pile. I wish I had used a different shade of blue for her eyes, but, being the non-lover of coloring that I am, I wasn't about to start all over again!!!!
