ReplyDeleteSuper dork here - Now I realized I didn't tell you my favorite gift. I have 2 as well. My first is my relationship with the Lord and the grace he has give me. The second has to be my family. The Lord blessed me with an incredible husband and 2 wonderful girls.

Enjoyed the hop. My fav gift(s) have been the artwork my daughter creates for me. You can see the Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow on my blog sidebar along with many other pieces of her creations on my blog. My other fav gift are my cameras that my hubby gave me. He gave me my first 35mm camera, then upgraded me to digital & since then many other wonderful digital cameras that I enjoy photographing the world with. Thanks for the giveaway chances.

Happy Birthday! Today is my brother's birthday too! My husband tries to outdo himself every year on gifts but one year we went to the Florida aquarium & then they have a boat ride that takes you out to see the dolphins. It was awesome. Thanks for the chance to win. I like the one with the digi stamps. I just started but I am hooked. :)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday gift was a surprise bd party given by my best friend. The thing is, I got meningitis during the planning phase and it kept having to be postponed because I was hospitalized. The party finally took place about a month after my bd, and let me tell you, was I ever surprised! All my best girlfriends were there and it was the best birthday ever!

Ok, now that I have finished hopping I am going to tell you about the "best gift I ever received and why it is so important to me"...sorry this might be long. One Christmas, when my son was in Kindergarten and my daughter was in 2nd grade, they had the opportunity to go to a "Secret Santa Shop" put on by the PTA to buy their parents Christmas Presents. My son was so excited about what he had bought me. So Christmas morning, I opened my daughters present first. It was a HUGE fake ruby ring..of course I made a big deal out of it, put it on, showed it off, said how gorgeous it was. I noticed that my son had slipped away. I asked him where my present was, he said he didn't want to give it to me. He said it couldn't compare to a ruby ring. He was embarrassed. I finally talked him into giving it to me. It was a little 1 1/2 inch wooden owl figurine. I LOVED it. I took it to work with me and put it on my desk right next to my computer. Every time my son came to visit me at work, he would look to see if it was there and he looked so proud! When I had to retire from work on disability, I brought the little owl home with me and he sits next to my computer at home. I am looking at it right now. I know that when my son, who is now 29 almost 30 sees it, it means love to him. It means that I carry him in my heart and I always will.

thanks for the opportunity. my favorite present is a coupon book that my lovely daughter had made for me when she was 10. She bought a little book from the dollar store and decorated it with flowers and wrote out a ton of items that she would do for me.... it was the sweetest thing.

Along with 2 awesome children, and 3 grandchildren, well it just doesn't get better than that. My gifts are not tangible, I carry them in my heart. They put a smile on my heart and face when I think of them.

my best gift ever (crafting wise) was my cuttlebug which a bunch of friends got togeth for and bought me for a wedding present! :) i absolutely LOVE it! :)

The most favorite prize I won was from JustYolie/Just Create and I won the "Save The Hooters Stamp set" and used it on Link Up For Pink and was so very glad to have it and use it for such a great cause. So thanks to you for having such a great stamp set as I use it often for cards that church members and friends ask for.

My most favorite gift is a hand drawn "bank note" from the "Bank of Love" that my daughter gave to me when she was in second grade. She is now 38. I carry that in my wallet and feel so very rich. It's priceless.
