And still with power! I'm typing this late Monday night listening to the wind and rain whipping around outside. Sandy is making her presence know here in Pittsburgh. I had set out flashlights and candles for "just in case" and I'm happy to say we haven't needed them...so far! School is closed tomorrow so the boys are happy. Poor hubby is still planning to go to work tomorrow, if the roads aren't affected.

Enough about Mother Nature, let me tell you about my card. As you know, I have two boys. Making masculine cards is so easy for me, I'm drawn to the cute guy images. But every so often my girly side comes out to play and I make a card like this one! This is a new Fresh Brewed Designs digital image called Christmas Ballerina. Isn't she lovely?!! Perfect for that little dancer in your family.

I have been having a very busy week. My little girl is in Advanced Show Choir at her dance studio

and they have had shows mornings and nights since Thursday night. There is another tonight and another tomorrow... if the storm stays away that is.

This proud mama had to share a few pics with you :))

Winter Wishes

OK, Ok... I know some of you are saying 

"AHHH!!! WHAT IS SHE THINKING? CHRISTMAS - for real?!?!"

While I am thinking "I am so happy to be getting some Christmas cards made. I am usually SO behind!"

Well, that and it is actually making me happy.  I LOVE Christmas time. The true meaning of Christmas though. Celebrating Christs' birth with my family. Baking and smelling cinnamon. Making hot chocolate. The good stuff. :))

Today I have a card to share with you featuring the NEWEST digi Christmas Holly. 

I can't tell you how much fun I actually had drawing her. 

If I could be one of my Christmas designs IRL it would be Holly :))

Yesterday was so beautiful here, I almost forgot it was a Monday. 

My hubby was home, the kids completed their schoolwork early, I was able to clean the house...

October Rubber Stamp Release and Blog Hop DAy #2

For my hop day 2 card I used the sweetie:

Decorate it Girl

Her PJs were paper pieced and the image was stamped OVER the tree. 

It appears to be masked off but since the tree is a digi, we all know that will not work. 

 I stamped the little box twice, cut it out and pieced it over the first.

 A little paper piecing and distressing and stickles and Voila - 

my fun and bright little Christmas creation :)
