Grillin' & Chillin'

So who did just that this long weekend? We grilled Saturday and Sunday then got take out yesterday!! My kind of cookin'!!! And Scooter here is having a wonderful time grilling up some hot dogs - why do they taste soooooo much better done on the grill?! Anyway, this card I used the Fresh Brewed Designs digital Scooter's BBQ. There is a whole set of adorable elephant digis that you really should take a look at...you can find them HERE.

Something else you really should do is come back tomorrow for our fun weekly challenge. It's one of my all time favorite of challenges, but I may have just said too much!! The kids watched Alice in Wonderland yesterday. 

I heard bits and pieces of it while I cooked dinner and cleaned house. I am not much of one to really love the movie stylings  of that of Tim Burton... however I find myself sucked into that movie when it comes on.  I still laugh when the Queen thinks that Alice's name is Um and when the White Queen gags when she is getting the dragons blood. I think that Anne Hathaway is such a sweetie.

Anywho - Before the movie even came on yesterday I was inspired to create a 'Queen' themed project for you! *well, for me, it is on my coffee / buffet table in my kitchen * wink*

but some days she prefers her lattes... like today.

I created this project using Papertrey Inc Cardstock, Making Memories 5th Ave Paper Pack,
My Paper Studio paper flower, rhinestone button, ribbon sold by the yard,
a computer generated sentiment, copic spica glitter pens and copic markers. 

Yes, it is good to be Queen!

Hey Baby!

Good Morning!

Things have been super busy this weekend here at my house. 

My husband has been working a lot due to the bike rallies in town and the kids and I have been chilling. 

Today we are making pulled pork BBQ, slaw, baked beans, fresh corn and homemade chocolate chip cookies. YUM!!!

I had planned to have a card to share with you today, but did not get it completed yet. You CAN see the image I colored though *grin* along with my card from this weeks FRAME IT challenge.

Beautiful Bride

So how did you like our new rubber release? Two beautiful stamps, Baby Bump and Beautiful Bride, were featured. I decided to make a wedding card today using Beautiful Bride. My niece is getting married this fall so this stamp will definitely be put to use again...unless pink will be her color and I can use this card...if I could be so lucky!!! I also want to make one using ivory...after all, that was the color of my wedding dress. I'm off to find my wedding album now and get all nostalgic!

Summertime. 

Who doesn't love summer!?!

Our Beach Bums rubber stamp is so sassy and fun. 

I wish I were able to wear a itty bitty bikini again... but I can't so I will live vicariously though this stamped image and be happy :D. I found this PERFECT paper at an online shop that was closing down and was so excited to get to use it. It is gorgeous IRL. Some of the words are coated in clear glitter sparkles. 

Anyway - I thought that you could use a little escape today and dream of lazy beach days.

Alice in a Bottle

What a fun and fabulous new digital release yesterday!! Now I have a confession to make, as a child, I never liked Alice in Wonderland...and I'm still not a big fan. I thought the characters were creepy and quite a bit scary. But these Alice images that Heather has created are wonderful, fun and anything but scary.
