June New Releases: The New Cutie Bugs Have Arrived!

In case you missed it, Monday, June 16th, saw the release of a whole new line of Cutie Bugs. You are definitely going to want to catch up with what they have been up to!

Let's check them out...

Cutie Bug Love

Apparently love is in the air. It is spring after all and bugs are not exempt from Cupid's arrow. Don't these two look like they are meant to be? We'll just have to see what the fates have in store for them.

Cutie Bug Sad

Awww. Look at that sad little face. This bug has met up with a little misfortune and like us, when bad things happen, he gets sad too. Maybe some of the other bugs will band together to create a card to help cheer him up!

Cutie Bug Sparkler

I just love sparklers, don't you? Apparently this little guy loves them too. He's all set for his country's July 4th celebration coming up very soon (he was born in the States after all). He also plans to check out the fireworks planned in his community. Seems we have a bit of a fire bug on our hands.

 Cutie Bug Flag

Talking about the Independence Day celebration in the US, this particular Cutie Bug is showing us his patriotism as he practices with his flag. He is going to be leading the local parade and is thrilled to bits. Just as I am very proud of the country I live in, so is he, of the one he lives in.

Cutie Bug Snorkel 

Looks like someone is having fun in the sun. This little bug has spent all day combing the reef for new and wonderful treasures. So far he has just found a starfish but the there is still time yet to find something unique that has been spit up by the depths of the sea.

 Cutie Bug Floats

I don't know about you, but where I live we've gone from winter to summer in the blink of an eye. This Cutie Bug definitely has the right idea. A relaxing float in the pool sounds like a great idea to me. Add a strawberry daiquiri to the mix and I'll be there momentarily.

Cutie Bug Watermelon

For many people, nothing says summer like watermelon. It is no different for this little guy. Although, it might take him a while to get through this slice, it is almost as big as he is!

 Cutie Bug Gift

Surprise! What a sweet little gift this Cutie Bug makes. The perfect present for any occasion!

Cutie Bug Luau

It is Luau night over at the Bugland Review. This sweet little bug is all set to take first prize with her traditional grass skirt and lei in the costume contest. Additionally, she's been practising her hula dance all week and is all set for that contest too. Wish her luck!

Cutie Bug Marry Me

Well! It seems that the fates work pretty fast indeed. When we started today's post these two had just fallen in love and now they are getting engaged! Of course, if you consider the lifespan of most bugs is just a few months long, then I suppose they'd need to live out life's events in a hurry. At least these guys aren't Mayflies or they'd be gone in just a few days. Let's wish them the best, shall we? Perhaps there might be a baby bug or 100 in their future?!

There is one more to add to the bunch, the one that I got to work with for my creation. So, let me introduce you to...

Cutie Bug Yawns

Oh my goodness. Isn't he just the sweetest thing! I mean, come on, look at those adorable little bunny slippers and you just know he has had that blankie for a while. Now this is a bed bug you could live with!

Even if you are not a fan of bugs (like myself), you have to admit that these little guys are beyond cute and would be perfect for so many different types of cards and other kinds of projects. Buzz By and Make Sure You've Seen All the Latest Releases

What's the BUZZ peeps? I hope that you all have BEEn well since we last met up. If you happened to miss it on Monday, Feb. 10, there was a blog hop over here to release all the new images out for February. Cow-a-BUG-a Dude! That is quite a bit of cake for a little guy to eat! However, he seems to be doing rather a good job at it, doesn't he?

This image is cute as a bug's ear. Chef Cutie Bug has whipped up a very special treat for you all to share in. I have it on good authority that Chef's confectionery goodies are rather delicious so you'll definitely want a sample of your own.

Isn't this image simply the bees' knees? This Cutie is apparently rather tired. Look--his little antennae are completely drooped. Maybe a little caffeine will help do the trick and he'll be back to buzzing around in no time at all.

This image is just as sweet as can BEE. I wonder if this particular Cutie is willing to share because that lollipop looks awfully tasty!

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone is having a super wonderful lovely weekend so far. (I know it just started, but I hope yours started off  right :)!) I know at Fresh Brewed Designs, we are!! I have had my morning java and am ready to take on  the day! My husband is off work and we are going to spend time together and with the kids.
On the other hand, Our lovely latte lady rubber stamp has been so very lonely. She keeps telling me she loves all the places she has been and has loved visiting all of the coffee shops, but it gets tiring  going by herself all the time. I introduced her to who we lovingly call Hot Cuppa Joe and she couldn't be happier! :D hehehe

Well, maybe I have had TOO much coffee today .... but I hope you are smiling and putting up with me and my craziness. All of this leads up to a NEW DIGITAL STAMP RELEASE!!! I had some free time on my  hands this week sitting with a not so well little man, so I took advantage of my being lazy and created this to share with all of you Fresh Brewed Designs fans :)

Good Morning!

I want to start off by thanking our Guest Designer for June. Sharon from Diary of a Craft Room Transformation. went above and beyond with her super cute cards, but behind the scenes she shared many touching emails that made me smile, laugh, and touched my heart. She has created this birthday card as her last Guest Designer post. It was inspired by our current Party Themed challenge in which you can find HERE. 

She colored the little Ewe for a friend of hers who loves sheep and actually created these flowers herself! Aren't they GORGEOUS!!! She used the Alleen's bread dough recipe in which my mom and I played with when I was a teenager. It really brought back wonderful memories when she shared that about her card. Thank you so much Sharon for being such a wonderful lady. You have a great talent and I hope you will continue to share it with us at Fresh Brewed Designs. 

 OK, So, LET's TALK!!! 

We have a new digi just released to Fresh Brewed Designs. It is called Hello! :)

Funny ~ after I named it I made my cards ... then remembered when my daughter was a baby she called the phone a hello :D That made my heart smile... and a little sad... but back to the card!!! You can read more about this card at my blog HERE


Next up is another fun card using Hello, but first  the deets. Every First Friday at The Latte Lounge we start a NEW month long challenge. Since Simply Scrapping Crafts is closing, I am taking the idea for there and using it at TLL. We are creating every month with a sketch and an extra. This months (July) sketch is as follows:

 and the extra: add 2 embellies of choice. 

Easy and fun, right???

Little Daisy has been practicing all year and it is time for her big debut!
Her recital is just around the corner and she is ready to show off all of the techniques she has learned:to Plié, Pirouette, Arabesque, Relevé, and Chassé
In just a few years, she just might be ready for her Pointe shoes!!!

Isn't she just beautiful in her flowing dress and floral headband.
I know her mom is so proud!!!

This ADORABLE card is not only featuring a new digi it is featuring some of the newly released FBD rubber stamps: Palm Tree and Beach Accessories.

This digi, Baby Ellie Hula Girl, is so excited for summer time. She enjoys playing in the sand, eating her ice cream, chasing crabs and of course luau parties!!! She loves the way her grass skirt tickles her knees and blows in the wind. Of course she has to twirl in it a few times just to see how pretty it looks while she spins.
