Isn't it weird that my mom, father in law and my mother in laws mom all share the same birthday?

I created some new digis just for the occasion!

 This one is for my mom. She is my best friend and I love her so much!

She is the one who has taught me everything I know as well as introduced me to creating and crafting

at a very young age, and I am forever grateful for that.

Heather's Coffee Break

At first, I was thinking, this is not going to work :(

The sentiment was too wide. Then I had the "hit forehead with hand" moment

It's a digi! They can be stretched or smooshed with the sizing squares or lines around it!

I did not want it to LOOK smooshed, so I took it to the level I thought it still looked pretty at. 

You can do this to your sentiments and flowers and nonliving objects that can be smooshable without looking silly :) (if it is ok with the policy of the company you are purchasing from). I do not suggest smooshing animals or people. They would just look plain weird that way :D hehehe!

More HOT STUFF!!!

It has been a while since I have used the lovely Work it Work Out Girl Rubber Stamp, 

so I decided to create something for this weeks challenge: HOT theme

I thought the sentiment was pretty cute :D I need to start working out. Funny - when I think about working out, my body goes into panic mode and starts screaming NO!!! don't do that to me! and I go on an oreo eating binge like tonight! HAHAHAH!!! So... working out does not help me AT ALL!!! it actually hurts me. So I stay away from it. (just kidding, I really need to get into some sort of routine.. some day)

OK so enough of my rambling!!!

It's Getting Hot in Here ... with winners!

LOL!!!

We have had two months of HOT STUFF! 

Two very HOT blog hops and now a week long challenge of complete hotness. 

What is with me?!?! LOL!!!

SO this week we are celebrating all things HOT. I decided to use our NEWLY RELEASED 

HOT CUPPA JOE RUBBER STAMP

(he is pretty hot after all)

I created the sentiment using word document on 'wonky action' font

I know it may be a little odd, so let me elaborate

Joe is getting ready for his date night with his wife. 

It is very much overdue and he is pretty excited. He doesn't want her to cook but can tell she isn't in the mood to go out... so he plans a peaceful night at home

He surprises her with a bubble bath, meanwhile he orders the best takeout, puts in her favorite movie, sets up a candlelight dinner in the living room and surprises her when she is finished with her relaxing bath.

OH - and he has cheesecake and coffee for dessert!

He is pretty romantic I must say.

OK, so now that we all want to marry Joe, lets talk more about hot stuff.

Are You Ready for Some Football?!!

I love when it's football season!! And, as you can tell from my card, the Pittsburgh Steelers are my all-time favorite team!! Forget these pre-season games, I want the real thing! Looks like Joe here is ready too...has his cup of coffee in hand, looking for a spot in his easy chair and the remote. I wanted to show off one of the newly released rubber stamps, Hot Cuppa Joe. Talk about a hunk!!! And the other rubber stamp released this month, Coffee Truck, is a must have too. Off to take inventory of school supplies that I already have on hand, then it's a shopping trip for me. Have a wonderful today. Hello Friends

Hi everyone!

This weeks FBChallenge is to create ANY PROJECT USING A RUBBER STAMP - no digis allowed. 

I decided to try something different, stamping on fabric. I tried this technique a few different times, and it bled on all of them, so I went with this one, the least damaged of them all :D lol!

I admit I need practice, but it is fun and I like the warm look to the card.

Happy Tuesday. In two weeks I will be smiling large because school starts!!! My boys love the routine of school...and I love the few hours of peace and quiet in the house!!! You know what I mean!!!
